RotaSpiral fine screening equipment provides cost effective, accurate classification in the 100-1000 micron range. Slotted and double crimped stainless steel wire mesh lend precision. Drum rotation ensures a constant presentation of fresh screen surface. The internal spiral and lifter bars provide oversize removal. High pressure water sprays fluidise the screen bed and help screen washing. Power and maintenance costs are extremely low.
The Rotaspiral can be used with internal spirals and/or lifter bars in conjunction with an oversize launder. Internal configurations can be adjusted to provide oversize re-washing and/or drainage, before discharge. The stainless steel mesh is uniquely tensioned and requires no vibration, giving a long life even for abrasive solids. Non-pegging, slotted mesh apertures are available for separations of 75 microns upwards. Units can be used for both screening and dewatering duties.

The RotaSpiral is a light but sturdy construction based on innovative design ideas. Operation is silent, vibrationless and continuous. Special foundations are not required. Equipment costs are highly competitive in the specialist fine screening sector.

Steel belt filters are high capacity filtration equipment for a wide range of sludge and fine particle applications. Proven for coal, minerals, tailings and metallurgical processes in addition to sewage treatment and effluent sludge dewatering. The steel belt mesh filter medium provides economic benefits and allows high temperature operation.

The SBF can be used either as a single deck or double deck machine. The steel belt is made of cabled material and through positive bending, does not suffer from fatigue. Wire flattening is avoided by various design features. Mesh apertures are available from 200 micron upwards. Units can be used for both screening and filtration / dewatering duties. The SBF is extremely robust and is based on a simple but innovative design concept. Operation is silent, vibrationless and continuous. Special foundations are not required. The entire unit can be supplied and installed at a fraction of the price of competitors, such as belt filters, plate & frame presses or other dewatering equipment

Features:
  • Endless Steel Belt
  • Self - Induced Vacuum
  • High Cake Temperatures
  • Positive Belt Bending
  • Long Belt Life
  • Minimal Belt Stretching
  • Minimal Wire Deformation
  • Constant Performance

Typical applications for the SBF:

  • Dewatering coal and minerals
  • Thixotropic slurries, such as gypsum and sulphates
  • Iron ore
  • Inclined conveyor belt dewatering using dewatering rocks up to 100 mm
  • Municipal sludges
  • Water effluent
  • Paper & pulp
  • Gravels
  • Hot & Cold Oils
  • Fruit Pressing
  • Drying applications
