Michael Battersby

Graduate of the University of Wales, UK (Mineral Processing) and Swinburne University, Melbourne Australia (Innovation & Enterprise) with many years' experience in remote site operations with Anglo American, De Beers, Robertson Research and Billiton Australia. Subsequently responsible for equipment sales management with KHD Humboldt Wedag AG, Germany. Specialises in new product and business development. Chartered Engineer, Member of IMM (London), AusIMM and SME.

Mike is also Managing Director of the following associated companies; Maelgwyn Mineral Services Ltd, Maelgwyn Mineral Services (UK) Ltd, Maelgwyn Australia (Pty) Ltd, Greenhills Technologies International Ltd.

Stuart Glen

Stuart has a founding in Applied Chemistry and International Business Management, with over 10 years’ experience across the whole process development cycle and in plant operations - from pure R&D and product development; business development and technical management; to plant construction, commissioning, and operations.

With a background in physical separation – flotation, filtration and thickening – Stuart has undertaken extensive work across the range of commodities on sites in Africa, South-East Asia, Australia, the Americas and India. Stuart is currently focused on gold processing technologies, specifically leaching, refractive ore processing and cyanide destruction.

In addition to technical and process roles, Stuart has variously held directorships with both large financial services and metallurgical companies, and is currently undertaking postgraduate studies in Chemical Engineering.

Dr Mike Adams

Mike is an internationally renowned metallurgist and applied chemist who consults through his company Mutis Liber Pty Ltd. Mike has BSc(Hons), MSc, PhD and DSc(Eng) qualifications from the University of Witwatersrand, South Africa. Mike has numerous technical publications to his name and is the editor of Advances in Gold Ore Processing published by Elsevier. Mike is currently also a director of Mutis Liber Pty Ltd, Bright Phase Pty Ltd, Lloyd Engineering (Malaysia) and South East Asia Mineral Resources.
